Adding to Kaden's First's

OK so I decided to post again, Jake has done a great job keeping everyone up to date on our blog. I haven't had the energy or desire to blog I feel that if Kaden is sleeping I should be sleeping also, but today for some reason I have a sudden burst of energy.
This is Kaden's first time in his crib, needless to say as I am in the office one room over catching up on everyone's blog and I have checked on him probably 15 times (I know he isn't going anywhere but he keeps making sounds like he is waking up).



And this is the way that we have ended up! He was a awake right before took this picture, I know the picture makes it look like I had to go pick him up while he was just sleeping, but he was crying two min. before this. The typing must put him to sleep!


He is now back in his crib if anybody is wondering, so I can finish blogging.

I have been having a blast with Kaden's hair, everyone keeps telling me that if he was a girl that hair would be so much fun to do, I was wondering why a boy with all that hair isn't as fun. I
have been doing something different each day with it- Mohawk, Messy, flipped up in the front (which was my fav), and there is more to come. I have taken pictures of all of his crazy fun hairdos but in the picture it just looks like a giant fuzz ball, but in person they are so cute!



I had to post this picture it is so funny to see his little personality, He hates to be constricted but we have to put a blanket over his legs because our house downstairs is freezing, if we try to wrap his arms in a blanket he will fight it until he can get them out it is so hilarious!

Kaden's First Photo Shoot

As many of you know Jake got a very nice camera last year and has been getting used to it over the past year in anticipation for its attended use, to take thousands of picture of Kaden. Yesterday we set up a little photo shoot took the first 200 pics. They turned out way better than we were expecting and it was so much fun to do. Kaden was smiling throughout the whole shoot it was so funny, he must of had a lot of gas. ;-)

Kaden is one week old and it has been so much fun to be home with him. We are amazed at how fast he is changing and we just love to watch him grow right before our eyes, even though it does make us a little sad, I wish they could stay this small forever. We are so excited for so many more firsts to come.

Kaden is Finally Here

Well we just got home from the hospital with the most beautiful baby in the world. We had such a great time the staff at the hospital was awesome and everything went very well, absolutely no complications, we know we are so blessed. Laura did a great job and is tired but doing well.

No baby yet!!!

OK, so no baby yet dang it! I hope that he comes soon Jake and I can't hardly wait. Last night was the first night that I think I was feeling contractions, but since I have no idea what they feel like I am not sure if they were even contractions, oh well I guess he will come when he is ready (or at least that is what everyone keeps telling me). I got a new position at work which has kept me busy and away from day dreaming about having Kaden!

Jake and I wanted some pictures of my big belly before he is here, and we have a lot of friends and family ask us to send them pictures so I Thought that it would be easier to just post them for everyone to see. I am getting huge, but it has been a lot fun! I have really enjoyed being pregnant but I can't wait to be a mom.

The Baby Shower!

I had 2 great Showers, a surprise one at work and a friends and family one, they were so much fun. Thanks to everyone that helped put the shower together. I can't believe all the support that we have gotten. Jake and I (and Kaden) are so lucky to have so many people that care about us! We have been so blessed! Here are a few fun pictures.
