Last week Kaden started to laugh a little but Jake wasn't home to see it. Well on Sunday when I was blogging Jake was down getting Kaden ready for a bath, Jake tickled him and he started to just laugh so hard, he would give him raspberries and he would laugh some more. He had never laughed that much and Jake hadn't seen him laugh at all yet. Jake called for me so I ran down and grabbed the video camera.
So here it is:

It's the End to the Beginning!
Jake is done with his bachelor's. Jake graduated with a degree in Exercise and Wellness from ASU on Friday! I am so proud of him and of his great accomplishment! He graduated suma kum laude with a 3.88 GPA.
Thanks to everyone that has supported him through it! He couldn't do it without your love and support!
We know that it is not the end but just the beginning. This was definitely a hard road but he worked really hard and it paid off! He will now be looking forward to his next journey, PT school here we come!
Go Devils!
Happy Birthday to Me!
Last week we celebrated my 24th birthday. Last Sunday Jake made me breakfast in bed! It was so nice of him to let me sleep in and wake up to a wonderful breakfast!
Jake brought me lunch and Kaden on Tuesday, It was sure nice to see my boys and eat my favorite food ever- Pizza Factory Pizza and bread sticks! Wednesday was my actual birthday Jake worked all day when he got home we opened presents and he made me dinner! My first present was from Kaden- I got everything that you can find that is Oreo, okay well maybe not everything but a ton of things. I got snack pack Oreo's, a pack of fudge strip Oreo's, Oreo pudding, Thrifty Oreo ice cream (my fav), and a package of regular oreo's. This was my funnest gift! I have been dying for Ore's since the end of September beginning of October. When I first had Kaden I was dying for sweets, who am I kidding I am always dying for sweets ever since I have had Kaden. I would buy a package of oreo's and it would be gone in a day or two, so I told Jake that if I didn't buy any more oreo's or ice cream then for my birthday I wanted a package of oreo's all for myself! Well all I have to say is Jake out did himself. Thanks for a great day Babe!

I picked out my own birthday presents from Jake- I got a new blow dryer that I needed desperately! I found a killer deal the day after Thanksgiving (see for your self)

And since I bought perfume they gave us a free plush robe! I don't wear robes but if it is free I'll take it! Heck an extra birthday present- Sweet!
Thanks for a great day Babe!
It's Been a While!
Okay, so I know that it's been a while. Going back to work and getting into the swing of things again has been really hard for me. I seem to always be exhausted and all of my time outside of work I want to spend with Kaden! Kaden has been such a good boy, he is doing a great job at the babysitters which makes it a little easier leaving him everyday. I miss him so much while I am at work.
Judy (the babysitter) took pics of him for me to help me feel like I am still apart of it all-
Thanks Judy!
I haven't been able to post for the last couple of weeks due to some sad news! Jake and I bought a new point and shoot camera the day after Thanksgiving and we have already lost it! I have been really depressed about loosing our camera, not because it is a brand new camera but because we also lost the pictures that are on it. Everyone thinks I am crazy that I don't really care about the camera and that I am more worried about the Pics! I just feel that some of those pictures were priceless and I will never be able to get them back! So if anybody has seen a random red camera with pictures of my little guy please let me know, there is reward money involved (sorry not much)! I had pictures of Kaden on a swing for the first time, Jake and him putting up Christmas lights together, and Kaden's first time to the babysitters! Well I guess I can hope that I just misplaced it some where, even though I have spent hours looking for our stupid camera!
He has been sleeping well, he wakes up only about once a night, but with Jake's help it hasn't been bad at all. Jake will put him to sleep at night after I feed him, so I can go to sleep and then he wakes up to bring him into eat at night. Jake has been such a good husband since I have had to go back to work. For those of you who don't know I have to get up really early (I mean really early 4 am early) and also for those who don't know me I really like or need my sleep. I have been able to adjust my sleeping habits to sleeping about 6-7 hours of sleep a night and no naps when I get home from work!
I got home from work one day (Jake had already gone to work) and I was taking pictures of Kaden, as I was looking back at them I saw these, It made me laugh so hard! Jake has been giving Kaden bath and I guess styling his hair! There were a ton of these pictures but because of the dark background (an Oreo package) you aren't able to see it as well.
Kaden and Jake have had so much fun together. They have been able to spend a lot of time together since Jake is at home with him a lot during the week. I bought this cute beanie from the $1 spot at target. Jake thought that it was kind of goofy looking but I think Kaden makes anything look good!
Like I said Jake and Kaden are having a lot of fun together, Except for when Kaden decides to have blow outs like this! It was a lot worse, but we will save you from those pics. Jake's face explains it all!
This is the new Fav! Kaden loves this toy he will sit and kick it for hours (well, not really hours maybe 30 min) I found it at a garage sale for $0.25 that's right only .25! It was a little grimy, but nothing a little bleach water and tooth brush can't fix! It also came with working batteries, you can't even get batteries for that cheap! I love to garage sale!

First Day Back!
I just wanted to let you all know that I did survive my first day back to work after having Kaden! I do have to say that that day was the longest day yet! It beat out the three days after my due date without any baby, and the day before I got married! I never thought that it would be this hard especially because Kaden was in good hands- Jake, and my mom. I am sure that Monday might be even a longer day, he will be at a babysitters for 3 hours. I know the Lady that is watching him and she is great but I am still really nervous leaving him. I know that lots of you mom's have had to go to work with a little one at home, if any of you have any tips they would be greatly appreciated!
I love Kaden so much and just want the best for him. I know right now, me working is the best for our family (even though at times I don't want to admit so).
WELL, I SURVIVED!

Kaden's Three Month Pics!

Kaden will be three months on Friday. This is a bitter-sweet week for me. I have to go back to work on Friday which breaks my heart but I knew that this day was coming. I know that he will be in great care, but I also know that nobody can take care of my boy like I can!. Jake will be watching him on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and Monday's & Friday's until noon for the time being, my mom will be watching him on Friday's from noon until I get home, and he will be at a babysitters on all day Wednesday's.
I am so thankful for the past three months and the time that we got to spend together. I have grown such a strong bond with Kaden and I know that I am going to have a really hard time leaving him while I go to work.
I am grateful for a husband that is willing to work hard and go to school so eventually I will be able to stay at home with my children.
I am for ever indebted to my Father in Heaven for giving me the opportunity to be a mother to such a sweet baby. I hope that I will always be able to teach him all that he needs to know to be a strong leader and a faithful young man.
Thanksgiving Festivities
Thanksgiving weekend was a lot of fun this year! Kaden was able to take part in a lot of firsts-
His first Turkey Trot
His first time to meet the Ficklin's (Jake's Cousin and Kids)
His first huge Turkey Feast
His first place setting at dinner with a name tag and all!
His first time to try Sweet Potatoes, Mash Potatoes, and Gravy (Thanks to Uncle Brett)
His first Pinata
His first sleep over ( thanks Uncle Brett and Aunt Courtney for staying over so Jake and I could go shopping at 3:00 AM which by the way was a blast! )
His first big rain storm
(Kevin started working for Race Place events many years ago, now Jake works for them and Kaden is their first third generation!)
Aunt Gena and Kaden
Mommy and Kaden waiting to cheer on Grandma!
Kaden and I just finished the race and Daddy was there to cheer us on!
Since Jake works the race he got up on the scaffolding and told the announcer that this was Kaden's first race and he cheered us on the whole finish line!
(Thanks babe for the embarrassment! I hate the attention aimed towards me!)
Lindsay and I at the start line
And yes Krystal he did sleep the entire time!
You can't tell in this picture but Jake made a shirt for Kaden that said
"Third Generations Race place Events"
Jake's boss got a kick out of it!
Kaden loved the Ficklin Kids. They were so good with him and were such good helpers!
His name tag!
Brett got to place everyone, he put Kaden by him and Jake and I at the very opposite end of the table!
How many people does it take to get Kaden in his seat and comfortable?
I love this little guys smile! It will melt any one's heart!
Brett is in the back corner raising is arm, and Kaden is next to him in the chair. As you can see Jake and I are the furthest from him!
Sorry to say Kaden did not break the pinata.
