So Brave!!!!!!!!!
I got this whim last night that I could cut Jakes hair. He has been bugging me to make him an appointment to get it cut for the last week. I have just kept putting it off, well last night I felt like I could do it for him!!! He has told me in the past if I watch somebody cut hair then he would let me do it! Well, I borrowed a friends old VHS about a month ago, I finally got to watch it Sunday night. So I called Jake into the kitchen but he was extremely hesitant. He didn't think I could learn from a video so he made me watch it three times. I finally convinced him to let me do it, I knew that I could. He kept complaining that I was using beard trimmers not clippers. I told him if this worked and I did a good job we would get some clippers. Well after a little bit of hard work and some fantastic skill I did it. Jake was pleased with the out come and I think I did a pretty good job myself.

Pat's Run
Saturday we were able to participate in the Pat Tillman Run/Walk. It was a really neat experience there were so many supporters out, about 20,000 to be exact! It started in the parking lot of ASU stadium, then went 4.2 miles around tempe, and then we ended in the stadium on the 42 yard line. It was so cool and inspiring to see groups of the military running in unison, people walking with their flags, people of every culture and background, and to see people of every age out to support this wonderful cause. Kaden and I walked the Race with Grandma and Grandpa Weaver.
Jake was working the race, along with Brett, Kevin, and Gena. We were able to see them all out there which was exciting. I didn't think that we would be able to find Jake just because he was running around making sure everything was running smoothly.
We saw uncle Brett out on the course at the first aid station. Kaden was taking a little nap and I was a in a zone-so we didn't a picture with him.
At the end we saw Grandpa Pete, it was so funny he was yelling to make sure that nobody stopped moving and to go all the way through to make more room for the people still coming in, as soon as he saw Kaden he stopped us so he could play for a second and I could get a few pictures (which didn't turn out very well because I was nervous about breaking the rules). I guess those are the perks about having grandpa in charge of the finish line.
Then we met up with Grandma Bella at the field goal, she ran! We were able to sit on the field at the end zone and soak up all that was going on!
Kaden ate a little breakfast while on the football field- it will be so fun to show him where he was when he gets a little bigger and is going to the football games with his dad!
Last but not least we found Aunt Gena working with some volunteer's I was so happy that we were able to see her before we left!

HAPPY EASTER!!!
Last Thursday Fry's was having an Easter Bunny come to take pictures, so we decided to take Kaden down to get his first Easter Pics! When we got there both Jake and I looked at the bunny and then looked at each other and in unison we said "holy cow that is a scary bunny!" (In the pictures he doesn't look as scary as he did in person!) One nice thing was that there was no wait-he probably scared everyone off! Kaden did fine! He was a little leery of the bunny at first but he did fine! He did smile, I just was taking the picture right before the smile came every time- Oh well, at least I got him in the picture!
We Hope that you all had a wonderful Easter! We were able to spend time as a family, and attend Jake's parents Ward, they had a wonderful Sacrament meeting full of music that was centered on the Resurrection of Christ. We are so blessed to have the knowledge that we will all be able to live again because of Christ our Savior.
After church we came home and it looked like the Easter Bunny had come and gone! He left Kaden a little surprise-

Kaden and I had so much fun searching for his basket, while daddy had fun taking video and pics! We finally found the hidden basket in the kitchen cabinet. We then looked at all the fun things that were left for him! He had a lot of eggs filled with baby puffs, and yogurt drops (I am so glad that the Easter Bunny remembered that Kaden can't have candy yet!)

He also got a super cute shirt
He got a fun book for church
and of course he had to get a little annoying but cute bunny!
Kaden also got Madagascar 2 which I think that was more for mommy then Kaden at this point (it's mommy's favorite movie) but I am sure that Kaden will appreciate it someday!
