Fun in Phoenix

So most of you have probably given up on us, you probably got sick of checking our blog and seeing no change, I know I would. The last post was clear back in November, with the Holiday's and both us of in school and Laura working full time we have had no time to do anything but study and try and have some family time.

Well back at Christmas time My brother, sister, and I decided that instead of giving gifts we would plan a date or activity for each other. My brother Brett and his wife Courtney went first, they planned a Phoenix fun day. We started the day off by going to this little breakfast place called, Matt's Big Breakfast, it has been featured on the Food Network, it was so good. Then we went for a tour at ASU downtown campus because that is where both my brother and sister go to school.

Then we walked over to the Phoenix Civic Space Park. We took lots of pictures and played some games. We threw the football and Frisbee around and we played boccie ball. It was so much fun.

Of course Kaden had to be in the thick of things, he wanted to play too.

Boccie Ball was so much fun and my brother Brett is really good and kicked everyones butts, we told him he should consider going pro, he is definitely thinking about it.

Kaden had so much fun playing in the park with his aunts and uncles, he was in heaven. He just roamed around and tried to get into the middle of everything.

We even got him to pose for some pictures.

It was also fun to spend a little time with the newly weds, Gena and Gavin got married the week after Christmas.
Brett and Cortney wanted to help me improve my photography skills so they posed all around the park for me.

After we played at the park we then walked over to the farmers market, every Saturday morning there is a local farmed market that is held downtown phoenix.

The farmers market was so much fun, we walked around and sampled all of the different items. Each couple bought something to share, Laura and I bought a delicious candy apple covered in white and chocolate chips.

Thanks Brett and Courtney for such a fun day, I can't wait for Gena and Gavins day, we are having a Rock Band party.
