4th Anniversary, Eternity to Go!!!!!

I can't believe it has been 4 years! It has been such a fun adventure. I am so lucky to have found Jake, he is my prince charming and couldn't have dreamed of a better man!
Jake and I were trying to come up with all of our accomplishments and fun memories of the last 4 years, some of the ones that we came up with are we bought our first home March 2006, first new car March 2007, I graduated May 2008, been to Disneyland twice November 2005, and December 2007, Hawaii twice August 2004, and June 2006 (I wanted to put in the years for journaling reasons I had a hard enough time remembering the years and it has only been 4 years, I can't imagine how much I will forget when we are celebrating our 10th anniversary or 25th anniversary!). I know that we have lot to look forward to this next year and we will be adding a lot to our list of accomplishments and memories next year! I love Jake so much and am so thankful to have him in my life!

Happy Birthday Jake!!!!!!!

Jake just celebrated his 26th Birthday. I can't believe how old we are getting. This birthday of his had a lot of potential, I usually spoil all of the surprises before any special days (birthdays, Christmas, anniversary, etc). This year I was determined to do something special and keep it a secret! Well, didn't happen again, I had planned 3 things that all fell through. so through prego girl frustration the night before his birthday I had told him all of the plans that fell through and told him that he would have to plan what he wanted to do on his birthday (I know it wasn't very nice of me, but he was very understanding, I think). So we made plans with our friends Stewart and Shana to go out to dinner and then to Dave & Buster's and play some video games, sounds fun right! Well, again something had to go wrong, to get into Dave & Buster's you have to have an ID if you are over 17 years old, if you were younger then that you just have to be with an adult with an ID (Stupidest thing I have ever heard). I of course didn't have an ID and they wouldn't let me in even though I was with Jake which had is ID. They also wouldn't let Shana in because her ID was the old one that was flipped the wrong way. So there went those plans also! so to finish off the night Stewart and Shana went home because they needed to go pick up Jaxon's from the babysitter and we went to see the Mummy. At least one thing was great for him for his present he got a Wii (actually it is a present for everything Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, and Christmas, We figure that once Kaden gets here there would be no hope for him to get one), it has been so much fun to play. And thanks to Shana for making Jake a birthday cake, we have such great friends!

Fun in Arizona

The Month of July was crazy! We had a lot of family in town. My Aunt and cousins from St. George came down and the two boys love coming over to play with Jake! They spent the night as much as they could which happened to be only two nights because of Jakes summer school, but the loved it. They got to stay up all night playing Guitar Hero and other games. We went to Amazing Jakes with the family and it was a blast.

Wow I am getting huge!

The air hockey tables were all filled up by my family for about 15 min. sorry to everyone that had to wait.

Grandma was so much fun, she played air hockey for the first time, and I was really surprised how good she was (air hockey must be her hidden talent).

This is the prize that we got to come home with, I have no clue what we are going to do with it. But it was nice that once that they were done with the games you had to pay for, they were content in just playing this.

My sister from Hawaii also came down. It was so much fun for her to stay with us. She is from here but her husband is in the military so they have been away from home for awhile. One of the main reasons why she came down was to get her Mexican food (just kidding she came down to visit family and friends, but she loves Mexican food and misses Arizona's real Mexican food). If you look closely in the picture I have my bag of Subway, I made Jake go get me Subway which I ate while they enjoyed their Carniasada (not sure on the spelling) burritos!

This is Krystal's son our nephew, needless to say he loves Jake!

And

Yes we are taking orders!

Onsie Party

A couple of Sunday's ago Jake's brother Brett threw the funnest family party ~The Onsie Party~ It was Jake's family along with mine, everyone had to make a onsie for Kaden. You were able to put anything on the onsie and at the end everyone had to vote for their favorite one other then theirs.

And the Winner is...........................

The winner received a trophy which was a diaper full of candy (the sweetest diaper we will be seeing for along time). Too bad we didn't win it!

RipStik Mayhem

Laura's cousin Walker came into town last week and stayed overnight at our house from Thursday to Friday. He brought his Ripstik, which is one of those crazy new skateboards that only has two wheels and they spin like casters. Anyways, he brought it over and he and I went riding around the block, he was on the Ripstick and I was on my longboard ( a long skateboard). We had a blast, the first video is some highlights of Walker, I shot it while riding my long board so it is a bit bumpy. Sorry for all those who suffer from motion sickness. He makes it look very easy, he is good.

Well after watching Walker make it look so easy I thought I would give it a try. I thought how hard could it be, I can ride a long board and feel like I have good balance. Well so I thought....

(The video was shot by 10 year old Walker so it is a bit bumpy, also he provided the awesome commentary as well.)

That is what happens when you take an out of shape over weight man who thinks he can still move like he is 10. So that ended my short lived RipStik career, I have officially retired. Hope you got a laugh out of my pain ;-)

Our Lives For the Past 4 Years

I have been promising Jake that I would start a blog, and here it is! It is not anything too exciting at this point but it will be in the next few months! Jake and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary in August, and it has been the best 4 years of my life! We have enjoyed our journey so far and can't wait to start our new chapter. We are having a baby boy in the beginning of September, and the anticipation is killing us, September can't get here fast enough!

Since I graduated we have gotten Kaden's nursery done (by the way the name we have picked out is Kaden Jacob), I love his room it is so dang cute!

I graduated from ASU in Business Administration in May and I am so excited to finally be done! Jake is in the Exercise and Wellness program at ASU and is going to graduate in December YAY! But it doesn't end there, Jake will be going to Physical Therapy School the following August and that will be his (our) life for 3 years. My sister graduated from Mesa High School this year also!
